Gadget Model Ronaldo Wants His Money From Bankrupt BenQ Mobile

Real Madrid soccer star Ronaldo was doing some gadget modeling for BenQ Mobile who sponsored the Real Madrid team. Apparently he did not get paid yet and BenQ mobile is bankrupt.

 

Real Madrid has still to play with BenQ Mobile shirts until July. BenQ Mobile owes about 1.2 billon Euros to about 4,000 entities (mostly former employees). Ronaldo is one of creditors. His german lawyer Michael Reichold hopes to get 20% of the money owed from Ronaldo’s mobile phone endorsement contract.

 

Ronaldo will survive without the BenQ mobile money, others are not so lucky. The pressure on BenQ mounts that they will have to cover for the losses of their mobile unit.
